We can add electronic signatures of LiveWest team members signatures to their user profile in Cx. These can then be used on any Cx letter which has had the @LoggedInUser.Signature field pulled through. By having this tag in the letter it saves the Team member from having to manual sign their documents.

We unfortunately, cannot see which users already have a signature set-up in Cx, due to system limitations.

Pre-requisites:

  • Create a folder in your documents drive called Cx uploaded signatures.
  • Ask the team members to sign a clean white sheet of paper and then scan and email it through to you as a word document or PDF OR
  • Ask the team members to provide you with a signature created using the online Paint toll and to send it through as a .png file OR
  • Ask the team members to use one of the handwriting fonts and send it through as a Word document.
  • Once you have received the signature, use the Snipping tool to capture the signature provided.
  • Copy and Paste the Snip into Paint.
  • Click on Resize.
  • Resize menu will load.
  • Select Pixels.
  • Change Vertical to 39.
  • Check Horizontal is less than 160, if not make it so.
  • Save the signature in the correct format by clicking File > Save As > PNG to your Cx uploaded signatures Folder. Ensure you add their name to the document title. e.g. Cx Signature Jen Coffey.

  2. Type 'User' in the top right-hand-side Quick Menu and click on 'User Details' within the Access Rights menu item.
  3. Wait 20 seconds for users to load in the left-hand-side menu. If you don't wait you risk overtyping something you shouldn't.

  5. Click on the team member and their page will load on the screen.
  6. Click on Upload Signature.
  7. Navigate to the correct file and upload.
  8. It will take you back to the user details, and it won't show you that it has uploaded a signature but it will have.
  9. Save and close.
  10. Once the user has confirmed the signature is working as expected in their letter templates you can delete their signature from your Cx uploaded signatures Folder.
