Prerequisites

  • All requests for new address creation must have been signed off by John Shaw and Helen Corbin.


In Cx:


  1. Access 'Address' in the Quick Menu. 
  2. Search for the address and select the correct entry in the list.
  3. Correct any required field with the following in mind:
    • SubDwelling: Complete for any property numbers that include wording, e.g. MOF 1-6, Flat 1, Sub block 1&2, Block 1.
    • Building Number: Complete for standard building numbers. Do not complete if the building number has been entered in the SubDwelling field. 
    • Building name: Complete if the address includes a building name.
    • Street
    • Locality: If the address includes a suburb and a city, enter the suburb here and the city in the Town field. 
    • Town
    • Postcode
    • County
    • Country
    • Companies: LiveWest 
  4. Select 'Format'. Check the formatted address looks correct. N.B. If there is lettering in the address that is required to be capitalised, this will need to be manually updated in the Formatted Address field. 
  5. Select 'Save' and 'No' to the pop up window. 
  6. To update the address description in the asset details, search for the address in the main search bar and select the correct entry in the list. 
  7. Access the asset details. Copy and paste the address up to the street name (e.g. Flat 1, Example Court, Example Street) into the Description field and remove the commas (e.g. Flat 1 Example Court Example Street).
  8. To push the change over the integration to Keystone, update the Keystone management type field to something different and save. Then change the field back to what it was originally and save again.
