How to Transcribe an Audio File
How to take an audio file and transcribe it so you can insert the words said into a document.
- Log into Office 365 online.. https://office.com
- Sign in.. it will do this automatically if you are doing this from a LiveWest laptop.
- Open Word and start a new blank document
- On the “Home” Toolbar in word find “Dictate” and then select Transcribe from the dropdown.
- Follow the instructions in the Transcribe dialog on the right.
- Click upload file and the transcription of that file will happen automatically.
- Save the transcribed words however you wish.
