There are two ways to activate Wi-Fi Calling, through the Quick settings panel or through the Phone app.

 

Please note: If you can't see the menu options below on your phone, please contact your network provider to check that Wi-Fi Calling is available on your network and activated for your device.

 

Through the Quick settings panel:

1Swipe down twice from the top of the screen to reveal the Quick settings panel

2Tap the Wi-Fi Calling icon to activate Wi-Fi calling

 Through the Phone app:

1Open the Phone app

 2Tap the More options icon. It will appear as three dots

The more options icon is located at the upper right side of the Phone app
 
 
 

3Tap Settings

Settings is selected in the Phone app
 

4Tap the switch to activate Wi-Fi Calling

 

Wi-Fi Calling feature is activated on a Galaxy smartphone

 

 

5If a pop-up box appears asking you to enter your emergency contact information, review and enter the information requested, then tap Save
