All the period information is calculated into spreadsheets in CX Calendars Admin. Make a copy of the last spreadsheet and add the new year information.

Enter in CX Test by end of January
Enter in CX Live by end of February
There are 6 Rent Calendars and they all need to be updated annually. They are:
- Annual
- Daily
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Weekly 48
- Weekly 52
**ALL THE DATA ENTERED INTO CX SHOULD BE TAKEN FROM THE SIGNED OFF SPREADSHEET**
In CX:
Search Calendars in the Quick Access Menu in the top right of the screen and select the Rent Calendar under Rents>Configuration.
There is now a section for each calendar, with example data...
Annual:
- Select Annual calendar from the left hand pane menu.
- Select the Years tab then Select New Year.
- Add the following details in the Rent Calendar Year window: (Screenshot below for guidance)
- Year: 2025
- Start date: 01/04/2025 (First of April)
- Number of periods: 1
- Select Confirm and Confirm again.
- Select the new Period in the bottom half of the screen
- Add the following details in the Manage Periods window:
- Financial Period: 202601
- Confirm
- Save
Quarterly:
- Select Quarterly calendar from the left hand pane menu.
- Select the Years tab then Select New Year.
- Add the following details in the Rent Calendar Year window: (Screenshot below for guidance)
- Year: 2025
- Start date: 01/04/2025 (First of April)
- Number of periods: 4
- Select Confirm.
- Select the new Period in the bottom half of the screen
- Add the following details in the Manage Periods window:
- Financial Period: 202601 (period relates to the month of the Start date)
- Select Confirm
- Repeat step 4 for each of the other 3 periods, taking the Financial Period from the spreadsheet
- Save
Monthly:
- Select Monthly calendar from the left hand pane menu.
- Select the Years tab then Select New Year.
- Add the following details in the Rent Calendar Year window: (Screenshot below for guidance)
- Year: 2025
- Start date: 01/04/2025 (First of April)
- Number of periods: 12
- Select Confirm.
- Select the new Period in the bottom half of the screen
- Add the following details in the Manage Periods window:
- Financial Period: 202601
- Select Confirm
- Repeat step 4 for each of the other 11 periods, taking the Financial Period from the spreadsheet
- Save
Weekly 48:
- Select Weekly 48 calendar from the left hand pane menu.
- Select the Years tab then Select New Year.
- Add the following details in the Rent Calendar Year window: (Screenshot below for guidance)
- Year: 2025
- Start date: 07/04/2025 (First Monday in April)
- Number of periods: 52 (could be 52 or 53)
- Select Confirm.
- Select the new Period in the bottom half of the screen
- Add the following details in the Manage Periods window:
- Financial Period: 202601 (period relates to the month of the Start date)
- Free period: From 2025/26 onwards the proposal is to have our rent-free weeks in the week commencing the final Monday of each quarter, other than in December which will be the Christmas week.
- Select Confirm
- Repeat step 4 for each of the other 51/52 periods, taking the Financial Period from the spreadsheet
- Save
Weekly 52:
- Select Weekly 52 calendar from the left hand pane menu.
- Select the Years tab then Select New Year.
- Add the following details in the Rent Calendar Year window: (Screenshot below for guidance)
- Year: 2025
- Start date: 07/04/2025 (First Monday in April)
- Number of periods: 52 (could be 52 or 53)
- Select Confirm.
- Select the new Period in the bottom half of the screen
- Add the following details in the Manage Periods window:
- Financial Period: 202601 (period relates to the month of the Start date)
- Select Confirm
- Repeat step 4 for each of the other 51/52 periods, taking the Financial Period from the spreadsheet
- Save
Daily:
- Select Daily calendar from the left hand pane menu.
- Select the Years tab then Select New Year.
- Add the following details in the Rent Calendar Year window: (Screenshot below for guidance)
- Year: 2025
- Start date: 01/04/2025 (First of April)
- Number of periods: 365
- Select Confirm.
- Financial Periods can be created using the attached SQL.
- Save
