Setting up a new Skillset in DRS

For the purpose of this document we will use MOULD1 as the new skillset/job template.

This is done through the Trade Person Template

Under Configuration, Templates, Trade Person you will see the REPAIRS template

Drill down into the template

Drill down into the Skill Category and choose Edit

Add the new skill into the list and then Save

2. Setup the Job Template

Go to, Configuration, Templates, Job

You can either Add a new template or copy one that has the same values.

For the purpose of this document we will copy the existing CLEAN1 template

Change the ID and the NAME then Save

Open the new Job Template then Edit the Trade Person request

Set the Name to be the same as the Skillset and set the SMV correctly

Point the new Job Template to the new Skill

Drill down into the Skill then Edit the criteria to update the default value

Remove any previous value, add in the newly created value – MOULD1 and Save

 3. Assign the new Skillset to the relevant Operatives

This should be done by the person requesting the new Skillset

 4.  Assign the new skill to the SOR

Once the Skillset has been assigned to the relevant Operatives any SORs requiring the new job template need to be updated.

From Configuration, Templates, SOR search for the relevant SOR then Edit and point to the new Job Template.
